Nowadays, the remains of this aqueduct are known as Beukenberg, a stunningly beautiful walking area close to the city centre. Beukenberg is acknowledged as a protected archaeological monument..... the largest in Belgium!

The Picturesque church villages walking map includes three signposted walks for Beukenberg. The map is on sale at the Visit Tongeren-Borgloon info points for €4. The map is in Dutch only.
