Class visit to the syrup factory

Independent visits

Schools can explore the Syrup Factory at their own speed. Upon arrival, the students receive a small lamp, a notebook, and a pencil. Together with Mia and Cornelis they go in search of secret messages that are hidden all over the factory. As well as being educational, this also makes the visit exciting and interactive!

Guided visit

Would you like to make your visit even more rewarding? Then you can choose to book a guide. A guide takes you through the factory and explains the syrup-making process and how the machines work in a way that everyone will understand. A guided visits costs €70 per group.

Discover the Syrup Factory:

• Start the adventure along a foot bridge, where you can get a close look at the old presses.
• Visit the magical ‘Syrup room’ and learn all about the process of syrup making.
• Discover impressive machines, such as kettles and centrifuges, and use your booklet and light to track down hidden messages.
• See how the syrup was traditionally boiled and filled.
