Put on your artistic glasses and go in search of the 'Flemish Masters in situ’ in Tongeren-Borgloon. In six locations in the centre of Tongeren and one in Borgloon, you’ll find works by old and modern masters. Each piece was either crafted for a special place or ended up here after numerous wanderings.

 Flemish Masters

  • Treasury of the Teseum: a series of unique reliquaries, recognised as Flemish Masterpieces.
  • Basilica of Our Lady: statue of Our Lady Cause of Our Joy, recognised as a Flemish Masterpiece.
  • Beguinage Museum Beghina: shrine of Saint Catherine.
  • Gasthuis Chapel: funerary monument for Maria de Berchem and an oak statue of Saint Agnes, recognised as a Flemish Masterpiece.
  • Saint Stephen's Church in 's Herenelderen: 15th century reliquary.
  • Saint Martin’s Church in Berg: 15th-century apostle beam.
  • Saint Odulphus Church in Borgloon: reliquary of Saint Odilia, recognised as a Flemish Masterpiece.
