In the Heuvelswijnhuisje in Kerniel, Kris Vanormelingen produces fruity and honest wines. In addition to the vineyard in his backyard, he maintains a few more vineyards in Kerniel and Jesseren. In total, there are about 3000 vines with the main varieties Muller-Thurgau, Sieger and Ortega for the white wines and Vroege Loonse and Dornfelder for the red wines.
