La Maison de Marie is a charming, modern, hyper-equipped holiday home in the pearl of Haspengouw. Relax, wake up wonderfully, enjoy the evening in the heart of the fruit region, with a breathtaking view over southwest Limburg.
The name is a tribute to the house's past, more specifically to the grandmother of owner Alex.
Marie was the personification of hospitality, her 9 children (of whom Alex's mother is the youngest daughter) and many grandchildren were regulars "on the Hill". The coffee was always ready, a piece of Limburg pie was never far away, the dining room or "good place" was packed on Sundays and holidays. The old walnut tree in the garden has stood the test of time and was Marie's favorite resting place after a day of work in the vegetable garden or on the farm.
