B&B De Romeinen Katzei is situated on one of Borgloon's steepest slopes, right at junction 151 of the cycling network. It's the ideal base for visiting the Doorkijkkerkje (Doorkijk Church) and the Zwevende Kapel (Swinging Chapel) on foot or by bike.
Our B&B is located right between these two highlights. The iconic cycling routes Flanders Route and Heuvel Route also pass right by our door.
We have seven guest rooms, each with a private bathroom equipped with a rain shower, sink, toilet, towels, hairdryer, and toiletries. A welcome drink awaits you in your room!
The entire accommodation has underfloor heating and automatic ventilation.
In the breakfast room you will find an honesty bar stocked with local beers, wines, fruit juices, soft drinks and water.
Breakfast consists of regional and homemade products and is served in the breakfast room or, weather permitting, outside on the terrace. Breakfast is served buffet-style.
Enjoy a refreshing Limburg local beer or sample our own Chardonnay white wine on our south-facing terrace overlooking the vineyard. Or try a game of pétanque.
Packed lunches and picnic baskets are available on request.
During the summer months, we offer the option of a table barbecue. In the winter, we make it even cozier indoors with not only a wood-burning stove but also a gourmet grill. Or come and try our Roman Katzei appetizer platter.

We've created two loop walks for you: the first, a 7.5 km loop, highlights the Doorkijkkerkje (Look-Through Church). A second loop takes you to the Floating Chapel.
